But they fall into yet another stereotype, pretty boys. Which is yet another unrealistic standard for men. There is no average male character. I only used muscular as an example because it was brought up first, and is one of the most common male stereotypes.

And men aren't? Odds are if you don't fall into a very

Women have aspired to be skinny and busty. Therefore it's a female power fantasy. According to your logic that is.

It's not the correct response at all, because it's not a power fantasy. No one wants to be that muscular except for those people who don't play games. The ones who spend all their time in gyms.

There may be more variety of male characters, but none of them are realistic, and those that are normal just throwaway

And I don't like being told I'm supposed to be muscular, doesn't mean i'm going to attempt to stop games from having muscular people in them.

Also how does it make you an object. Attempting to be attractive is something that occurs in many species, it's incredibly natural.

That is wonderful.

Correction: A 100 dollar Kinect.

I completely agree.

Guess what, it's not designed for the average man in mind either. As no man I have ever met wants to look like that. Or even be associated with people like that.

And i'm a male who doesn't want to be super buff. Stop assuming that's what I want to be, and play as. But guess what, there are women that want to be sexy characters, just like there are males that want to be super buff. Why should my view on it influence what designers want to do.

Yes we get other designs, such as

I don't like buff dudes, so how are buff dudes for me.

I always laugh when people try and base their entire argument on the other persons race and gender.

Good job with the progressive views.

That argument can be said for women too.

Women want to be sexy. So characters are sexy. Sure men benefit from sexy characters, but women benefit from sexy male characters.

And as a man I wouldn't want to be an ultra buff guy who looks like he couldn't move his arms to scratch his back. But guess what, male characters

Apparently so.

get ready for idiots assuming that only white guys have a problem with people blowing things way out of proportion.

"but that's just a "power fantasy". You are supposed to aspire towards that."

This is an actual reply I've gotten when bringing up that point.

Yeah... development costs rise with the amount of time developing the game. This game has been in development for slightly less than a year. I doubt their costs is super high.

And compared to other fighting games with a similar amount of characters, they are over charging. As those other fighting games cost 10-15.

That's assuming they would go full retail release. Full retail release being in stores physical disc, not just downloadable.

Odds are they would go with arcade release, it'd be 20 tops, and cosmetic items would be unlocked through the game rather than costing other 20 bucks. As other fighting games with that limited of

The problem with having only 1 character available and unable to try other, how will I know which one I want? Or which one I will like to play? Or which one is better competitively? This list goes on. Locking characters as a purchase only sucks.

I love my Wii U, I play both it and my PC rather regularly. PC for hardcore games, and the Wii U for everything else.
