Guess what they can do all that without it being added to the console, as they have done. The console will never be able to do these things as well as a pc. Tacking it onto the console is just using more resources so it requires them to add more pointless unnecessary stuff to the console raising up the price of it.

They should be separate. The social media added to consoles is tacked on and pointless. And when it's required for things it's go from pointless and ignored to a nuisance Yet they keep pushing it on consoles.

I've had it happen with games... the most recent one being Fire Emblem Awakening... It pretty much killed it for me.... Lost about 80 hours on that one. I don't know what I would do If I lost my dragon's dogma one. I'm one of those people that never wants to risk losing saves even if I don't play the games anymore.

Depends. The story is pretty hands off for most of the game and then starts to pick up near the end. So if you don't expect an amazing story for the entire thing thing it shouldn't be a problem.
