I’m no fan of riding in the back seat (or passenger seat up front for that matter) but from checking the car out I didn’t find it cramped, and I’m 5'11/28olbs.

Sounds like you got a lemon - every manufacturer has them. Can’t speak for Mazda’s reaction - MazdaCanada has been pretty good as far as I know. But I know a couple people with the company too. Honestly, use of the back seat isn’t a huge priority, but it is nice to know if I have passengers they aren’t feeling folded…
If Honda is smart, they won’t mention full-size trucks in any of their marketing, and just stick to comparing this to the Colorado, Tacoma and Frontier/Navara, given that those are it’s actual competition. People who beat their chest roaring “argh-real-truck-this-isn’t” aren’t going to consider any of these…
I’ve always found it very offensive that estates are taxed period. I know the saying is “...death and taxes”, but it really shouldn’t be “death and your death taxed”. If there is one area the tax man should just stay well enough away from it is all things concerning death.
I don’t know - Vikander just just doesn’t give me the Lara Croft vibe. Not saying she isn’t good, just don’t see it. Ridley was a good option perhaps, or Camilla Luddington, who voiced the character in the games of late. If you wanted to shift the character a bit, Lenora Crichlow wouldn’t be a bad option either.
Tom, are you an excessively large man? I ask because of your comment that the rear seat of the Mazda6 is ‘tight’ (I assume you mean not a lot of space as opposed to the slang for perfect). At 5'11 and not a bean-poll, I can more than comfortably sit ‘behind myself’ in a Mazda6 with lots of leg room to spare (and yes I…
I should wonder why they wouldn’t have come up with a modern interface connection years ago but this is a British company after all. Worse than remembering what a Compaq is is remembering how much money (in 90's cash) they cost to buy.....
She has talent? To each their own I guess...
Or.... Cast the character as should have been, and not give a whit what China thinks or says. Seriously if they are going to get butt-hurt about Tibetan master characters then too bad for them. Yes I am being dismissive of a billion people and their opinions but since when has China in the last century been at all a…
A few thoughts on autonomous car ‘ethics’:
Yeah, I’m the opposite - I used to watch a lot of NASCAR and now only see the highlights on SC, but the crashes seem to be more frequent or more spectacular than I remember them.
If the point is valid, it is irrelevant who it came from. Being able to separate the two (the point and the mouth that breathed it) is the level-headed approach. Which is partly why NASCAR fined him, because they aren’t. Reducing wrecks reduces ticket sales and viewers on TV because that is what a lot of “fans” watch…
The Mattracks that Block uses are bolt on - essentially as difficult to deal with as swapping your summer tires for winter tires. Yes, less convenient than this system, but from what I’ve read, better overall performance than the drive-on style. Pricing (from what I can find...) seems to be comparable, which seems a…
This little experiment alone makes me regret not taking the time (and suffering the abuse at the border) to go to the Detroit show this year.
That is quite the upgrade in rides. Another commenter (Andrew Daisuke) traded in his TDI for a Cayman. The price differential between the VW’s and those cars both is quite the leap (and in the case of the Cayman - shift in use/performance).
Well, I’m sad Stana is off Castle, especially for lame reasoning like “budget” (dear ABC, go ask parent Disney to lend you some Marvel cash). It’s one thing for the actor to not want to renew their contract, but when it is 1/2 of the dynamic duo (she being Batman essentially) you have to have a re-think as to if the…
That’s because we are all poor... :/
So let me get this straight, it is okay by you that a woman (or by extension parents) can abort her pregnancy ‘because reasons’, even if those ‘reasons’ are based on the sex of the kid, or it’s hair or eye colour? How is that any different from infantcide, typically perpetrated against female infants once they are…
