Glad to see this view as well. I only know the Girls series, but that’s enough for me to understand that she is a talented writer. I can’t not respect that.

My favorite lifelong NYCer comment was a question that my Brooklyn landlady asked me when I told her my Mom lived in Michigan. “Michigan? The state? Where’s the nearest subway stop?” Yes, it was a wonderful moment that stretched both my math and geography skills. And it made us both laugh.
Same. Being an artist is not supposed to be about finding the most Oscar-worthy roles so you can check that box on your bucket list.
Same!
As a Latina from Miami, I thought white = Jewish until I went to college and then realized Jewish people are seen as a minority by everyone else. I was dying last night when I heard Cruz (go back to Canada, bro). Still shocks me that anti-Semitism is a for-real thing. “money and the media”— seriouslY!?!
FUCK YOU TED CRUZ FOR MAKING ME SIDE WITH TRUMP IN THIS DESOLATE HELLSCAPE OF A CONVERSATION
Not Jewish but same experience. In college someone in my RH was from Georgia and claimed to never have met a Jew. Did not believe them, thought that was impossible . A few years later I worked on a tour and found out it was quite possible.
As a New York not Jew - SAME. I even went to a school with a high Jewish population but was FLOORED when so many people were casually antisemetic or simply had never even known a Jewish person... all of those same people would routinely ask me if I was going home for Passover b/c you know - brown hair, NYer.
LA Jew here. I had no idea we were the minority until I started dating someone from the Midwest. I am the third Jew he's ever met. Whaaaaaaaat????
And pizza.
But that’s one of the great things about Harry Potter, that the characters have flaws. It’s very rare in children’s books to have nuanced and multi facetted characters that have oth good sides and bad. Snape was very complex and flawed person that you hated at first and grew to sympathise with, and he ended a hero…
He was so wonderful in this- he played the older admirer so well, with this kind of melancholy grace, admiring her youth and loveliness without being creepy. I found it very touching.
Can half Puerto Rican women do so? And if yes-

Expiration dates are bs for these kind of things, but I also agree that if it is pretty explicit when they expire, then it is on the buyer. Although there may be some room for a case if the lack of available of classes affects one’s ability to utilize the pass.
Kara is correct:
It seems extreme that simply recalling the first name — while otherwise using the feminine pronoun throughout, and never calling today’s Caitlyn Bruce instead — would be “transphobic.” It’s getting to egg-shelly around here.
I like Ricky Gervais and his humor. And honestly, all the hate and outrage he gets here on this site just makes me shake my head.
No. It’s fun. Keep not watching.
“Excuse me, my gun is up here."
