BMW has an M2. And that’s enough for me.
I disagree, it’s a low volume car, it’s not a game changer in anyway.
The LC500 is definitely my favorite because of how it looks and because I’m shocked they actually built it.
The motto of the 2017 Ridgeline team: “We can’t possibly sell fewer than the last one”.
I disagree with you about the Canyon/Colorado sales. 114,000 sales is not a failure. Being second in a market to the Tacoma is to be expected. The Taco has incredible reliability and thus very loyal owners. I think this was a very strong showing for GM. They've got farther to go with the Canyon/Colorado, but it is…
How did it do?
It’s gotten GT3 homologation recently and ran in the Gulf 12hr last month.
smaller? interesting. Everytime I see one (even I had seen it before), I get surprised for second how big it is and how massive it looks.
Good luck on your hunt - that’s a rare bird you’re after!
The important thing to remember is that Jalopnik is an inclusive car community rather than an exclusive one and that someone’s choice of vehicle whether it be a Camry, Prius, or PT Cruiser doesn’t disqualify them as a valued member.
BMW 8 Series - 7200 sold in North America over 7 years... 31000 world wide over ten year. For the price, everyone went to Ferrari instead. Now we all get excited when we see this v12 beast.

Squidbillies livery on a NASCAR vehicle. My logic is undeniable.
What are you talking about? The top 3 players in this class- Toyota, Audi, and Porsche all use very different powertrains. Aside from their relatively similar bodies, which is the result of wind-tunnel testing, the cars are incredibly different.
True, this whole exercise was a huge failure in pretty much every regard.
Proving once again that FWD is the lamest of the 3 possible drivetrain setups.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Did anyone really think they would actually continue or come back and race this design with any real intentions of being successful?! What a joke of a program and all the sponsors who threw their names at it thinking it’d be a worthy program have been let down huge.
It’s unfortunate, but not entirely surprising. Everyone wants to see something cool and new succeed, but I think the majority of people saw its design as fundamentally flawed from the start. Hopefully they can come up with something successful on their next try without losing the spirit of trying something new and…
