Honestly, I feel like six months is probably the best amount of time, and I do think that paternity leave should be something offered as well. It's just that a year, from a business stand point, is horrifically unrealistic.

Six months is the most time I can conceive of taking time off for a child, and preferably a paternity leave option for my husband would be great as well. A year just seems excessive and like a manipulation of the system. I get that you want to be there for every second of your child's life but uhh.... if that's the…
Well obviously yes, but maybe this is insensitive but if you're looking to stay out of work for that long then you should just quit your job and be a stay at home mom. There's nothing wrong with that at all, but there is an issue with expecting to be out of work for that long and be able to go back as if you never…
Maybe it's because I've yet to have a child but a year of maternity leave seems excessive. Primarily because it only seems like it would only make the transition back to work far more difficult for the mother since... like.... a shit load can happen in a year at a company.
You are not alone, my friend. You are not alone.
Uhuh.
SORRY except not sorry
Not to ruin your moment but I definitely read "eat ze leftover cahke" as eat ze left over cock. Same sentiment I suppose?
Ooooo I like your sass
Well, if there's anything that Jezebel likes is anything Pro-LGBTQ. But fuck anything women related because they're clearly just trying to make all other women feel bad.
Holy wow. I have made it a pretty big personal law to never move to the south unless it's completely and totally unavoidable but even then I can't figure out an actual reason as to why I would choose to live there. Like... actually -choose-. Of my own volition. For any given reason.
Amen, Amen, Amen. Better than anything I could have said. I also came from a single parent household, and yeah, there's a ton of families who don't come off as lucky, but it IS important to let those who do get to voice their opinions. Being able to share success stories is part of what helps get "non-traditional"…
Yup, Us Libtards are gonna sit pretty over hurr with our lack of gun rights ('cept there are states up hurr in the nor'east that still have relatively lax gun laws. YEAH, I'M LOOKIN' AT YOU, MAINE). But uhhh, at the same time I'll also sit pretty in as I keep living in one of the best states to live in within the…
Sources would be great, yes. Jezebel is pretty shitty about citing where they get pictures from which, as an artist, is horribly fucking shitty and irresponsible of them.
Wow. I think you get the award for bitchiest comment of the evening.
Whoa, gotta wipe up that drool and pick up that jaw cause that just made me way too excited.
Whoever dresses this woman needs to get fired because god damn she's a constant walking mess.
Sorry but:
