I would agree with you if the game were 15 hours long, but the vanilla game it’s absolutely huge, it’s not as if Nintendo sold us an incomplete game.

Nintendo already outsold PS4 in it’s first week and is still seeing far stronger holds. “Artificial scarcity” doesn’t logically answer this, as what you said would imply them tanking the first week (which they didn’t do) for stronger holds.. This is pure high demand, simple as that.
