XY & XY&Z is AWESOME. The animation is done by the same team that did Episode 4 of Pokemon Origins, so every episode is amazing. Check out Ash vs. Sawyer (or Satoshi vs. Shota) from XY&Z Episode 35. It is easily THE best fight in the history of the anime, and I’m including the movies in that.

Am I the only one who just enjoys walking around, getting Pokestops, fighting gyms, exploring and happening upon Pokemon along the way? as an owner of a Wii U, as wellas a PS4 and Xbox one AND Gaming PC, I’ll say your hypothetical person is a fool. A gamer chooses based on the GAMES they want to play, not specs. Most gamers know fuck-all about hardware anyway.

Personally, these are the exclusive Wii U games that look worthwhile to me:

Two Zelda games, Pokken, Mario Maker, Mario Wii U, Luigi Bros, Splatoon, Smash Bros, Yoshi’s Woolly World, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Pikman 3, Xenoblade, Captain Toad, Shovel Knight, Mario Party, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart. Those are just the games I can see on my shelf from the chair I’m sitting in.

I like how many commentors prime concern seems to be: no power is no third parties.

Except big third party developers have said they’re excited about the NX.

Nintendo has been releasing systems weaker than the competition for a while now. Nobody buys a Nintendo console because it’s the “most powerful”, they buy it for the games. Will the NX have Nintendo games? Yes, so power won’t matter unless the lack of power ruins the experience.
