I never went to a Catholic school but I had a Jesuit confessor for a while and he was very understanding and nice. He was my mom’s confessor and he helped her a lot to get over her divorce. He told her she did it to protect her kids so she should not feel bad and should in fact feel that she did God’s job in keeping

You shouldn't be surprised by that Jesuits pushed some liberation theology and are generally one of the most liberal branches of the Catholic Church.

I ask myself this everyday, how can the most adamantly Christian parties in the US, be both the most aggressive when it comes to military action and the most close minded when you even approach anything that can even loosely be defined as Socialist.

Socialist? Yes. Shouldn’t all people of “faith” be socialist? Was Jesus a capitalist, evangelizing supply side?

Muslim? I think you’re mistaking the Pope for Obama.

like reminding Christians that they should do something crazy like actually pay attention to what Christ said.

Huh? First of all, there’s no pipeline without Syria. There’s just no way around that. Second, given Assad had said “No” to the Qatari Pipeline back in 2009, and again in 2012, why invade Turkey? And third, invading Turkey —- a member of NATO —- would initialize World War III.

It’s really part of Russia. The Ukraine has only had it for 50 years or so and were given it by Russia. If they hadn’t started playing kissy face with Europe, they would still have it.

It should be apparent to anyone who’s been paying any attention at all that the United States and our ostensible allies in the region have no intention of actually fighting ISIS or Al Nusra because our masters have decided that their number one priority is the removal of Bashar Al Assad from power.

Thumbs up to Russia for being the smartest guy in the room. Stability should be the main goal for the middle east, not some fantasy about the arabs factions all holding hands and singing Kum-ba-ya while basking in the blinding sunshine of American freedom.

As opposed to what the EU and NATO did in Ukraine? Is it legally and morally right to try overthrow a democratically elected govt to further your influence? No..

They actually did; Russia successfully pacified Afghanistan for three years, until America supplied the Taliban with Stinger missiles and other heavy weaponry.

It looks the same in the way that all of these things look the same.

I paid 10k at auction for an s500 in 2005 excellent conditon and the pop up analog phone still worked up until they did away with analog.

I think the Moscow Metro system is by far one of the best. It was created during the Soviet Union. Granted, some of the trains are old, but the system was created for efficiency, and it is more efficient than any other metro I have ever been on (NYC, London, Beijing).

Maglev. The Shanghai Maglev Train hits 270mph in regular service but has been clocked up to 311mph. Like a train, but it levitates a tiny distance from its “rail” using the power of magnets.

ISIS carried out the gassing attack in Syria as a false flag operation. Turkey is hell bent getting rid of the PPK under premise of war on terror and of course since PPK is composed of Kurds that’s whom ISIS is fighting right now. Meanwhile, Europe, US, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are all watching on and rooting for ISIS.

Did you just say destabilize the region?

"Yet Mr. Stefanusson said he also suspected it could be a "budget-submarine" — a tongue-in-cheek Swedish term for a submarine sighting that conveniently coincides with the government setting its new budget, including allocations for defence."

For anyone wondering where Yaya Island is...

His GT3 is sick but I like his Hemi Cuda better.
