I think the Moscow Metro system is by far one of the best. It was created during the Soviet Union. Granted, some of the trains are old, but the system was created for efficiency, and it is more efficient than any other metro I have ever been on (NYC, London, Beijing).

Maglev. The Shanghai Maglev Train hits 270mph in regular service but has been clocked up to 311mph. Like a train, but it levitates a tiny distance from its “rail” using the power of magnets.

ISIS carried out the gassing attack in Syria as a false flag operation. Turkey is hell bent getting rid of the PPK under premise of war on terror and of course since PPK is composed of Kurds that’s whom ISIS is fighting right now. Meanwhile, Europe, US, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are all watching on and rooting for ISIS.

Did you just say destabilize the region?

"Yet Mr. Stefanusson said he also suspected it could be a "budget-submarine" — a tongue-in-cheek Swedish term for a submarine sighting that conveniently coincides with the government setting its new budget, including allocations for defence."

For anyone wondering where Yaya Island is...

I've driven this one. 1992 1.9 with cat (= 120 HP), in mint condition, unmolested, though the hydraulic headlamp height adjustment was faulty, as on most Peugeots of the time. Yes, hydraulic.

No contest. Starred the article before clicking; skimmed the photos, didn't read, voted yes to both.

His GT3 is sick but I like his Hemi Cuda better.

Yep he's one of those guys... he's darned good at anything he tries. Gaming, check, comedy check, bjj check, fighting check and kicking my arse at pool. Oh and cars:)

So what it the cut off? I am not argentine, although I did live there for a few years. I have been an Argentina fan for more than half of my life. I would argue that I have a stronger claim to fandom than someone who has never set foot in the country and can't speak the language regardless of where their grandparents

You'd think conservatives would love soccer and absolutely abhor the NFL.

Galeano's Open Veins of Latin America absolutely blew my mind when I read it as a freshman in college.

No, he's talking to women who will laud him with platitudes and cause his article to get passed around everywhere.

I got to ride in this very chassis by accident in 05'. Joey Hand was my driver, and those two glorious laps instantly convinced me to go up to the Skip Barber tent, and slap a down payment for the 3 day racing school. I almost didn't get a ride because of my height. We finally got the belt situation fixed, and you'd

It's got music (Thankfully it's good music) but this is one of my favorite F1 videos.

I had a choice back in the day, to fly Mig 29s or the MI24s in the Czech Air Force. They sold the 29s to Poland in exchange for W-3 Sokols and helos didn't hold the same appeal as a fighter jet (never understood that move). So it was back to Mig 21/23 or the helo. Instead, I decided to defect to the US and fly Cessna

The Donetsk Republic fighters are using asymmetric response to effect attrition on the limited Ukrainian materiel resources at Kyiv's disposal. It shouldn't take too long before Poroshenko uses up whatever inherited machines that he has left in working order. And Ukraine isn't getting any replacement parts from

This mostly just boils down to "change is scary". If the majority of men as a group had to actually acknowledge that women face adversity because of their gender, that would mean that they would have to change their ways of thinking. They wouldn't be able to bond by sharing jokes about women drivers, or 'fake nerd

People can recognize the merit of those things and think they are boring. She never said that feminism shouldn't exist or that it's bad, only that she wasn't interested in the subject. I'm a person of color as well and although I am thankful for anti-racism and civil rights movements and applaud what people in those
