Good question. I bought a 56 oval window bug recently for $5,000 because I wanted semaphores and it was a matching numbers car, it was a survivor, it wasn't a nice one but I love. The door close in that era is way better.

I'm in one of the key age demographics they're trying to target, and many of my friends like the ads. When it comes down to it, real car guys are a very small part of the market and it's not who they're trying to appeal to.
I was hoping to do a Karmann Ghia and turn it into an electric car and call it the Carmen Electra but didn't work out.
For me it's finding a line on a vehicle that accents the car in a nice way that breaks it up and makes the car look longer, thinner and lighter. If it was for speed it would be just one color.
