Games. No physical media. Complete Digital Distribution. Online requirement. No sharing. No used games.

Sound familiar yet?

Let me guess. You don't have a Steam account, do you? Because y'know...if you do, and you're using this bullshit argument, well...I hate to break it to you, You've already bought into what Microsoft was trying to do.

You realize that the entire reason Steam was developing that feature was to compete with the Xbox One's sharing feature. Now that the Xbox One doesn't have that, Steam will probably shelve their sharing feature, or at the very least, put it on the back burner.

There are times when competition makes for better product.

I have mine sitting right next to my tv. Of late, however, the only use it gets is watching Dora via Amazon Prime, now that my daughter has discovered how to turn it on.

do yourself a huge favor though and choose one medium first. Books or tv show. Trying to hop back and forth between the two will have inconsistency spoiler goo coming out of your eyeballs. What I mean to say is that the show takes a lot of artistic license with the books (as they should and almost have to with the

You mean I have an albino leprechaun sitting by my tv?

j/k, but I actually do still have my launch ps3, and it plays most PS2 games.

Parallelogram, my friend. All Rhombi are parallelograms, not all parallelograms are rhombuses.

Although if you painted it yellow, and added some wheels, you might call it a ROM bus...

Sorry. I'll leave now.

Why in the world do you have a PS3 AND a PS2 when the PS3 will...

ohhh. You're one of THOSE people...

*backs away slowly*

The physical PC version is still 19.99, plus free shipping if you have Prime, yadda yadda, et. al.

Best Buy still has the Xbox One Day One edition available for pre-order. My cousin just ordered one from there, with release day in store pickup, but they're offering free shipping too, if you don't want to go in.

I don't know if you guys have read this, but this went up on pastebin:

Playstation Plus is required for online multiplayer.

Just sayin'. But other than that, I agree with you.

Do you remember what the launch prices for consoles have been in the past? Prices in parentheses reflect 2012 dollar values of launch price. Seems to me, the current launch prices are right on par with what they have been.

PS One: 299 (452)
Dreamcast: 199 (275)
N64: 199 (292)

Xbox: 299 (389)
PS2: 299 (400)
Gamecube: 199

Yeah. Sony killed it (in a good way). I preordered mine as well. It was amazing how Sony managed to hit on every bullet point that was a negative of the XB1 and say, hey...we're not doing this. Then they absolutely sewed me up with FF XV and KH3. Then seeing the live play of Destiny and Watchdogs? Yeah, I was

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

This is the best representation of my wife's squeal when I showed her the footage. She then picked up our two year old daughter and tried to make her do a bit of a wall run. Looks like it's

As someone who's been programming in Android since 2.0 (Eclair, API 5), it's amazing to see the progression from the design elements from then to now. The introduction of the Action Bar for one, and the mandatory elements that go into that. Android used to be sort of a wild west of UI elements, but Google has been

I would expect that that very feature will become prominent in any reviews on PS4/XB1 games, because review sites know that people want to know that very information. Also, I sort of imagine an emblem near the currently existing one that has all the rating information.

My three year old daughter saw the first one and said, "That man is tickling her too hard."

Out of the mouths of babes...

I actually have three in a row with one above the right most monitor, like so:
