...and fully functional operating system that can actually run the various programs you’ll use as a professional. ;)
Don’t worry... to compensate for the lack of functionality, they’ll be charging extra.
So, $700+ for the iPad Pro, $170 for the keyboard cover, and $99 for the stylus?
Get the Surface Pro.
More proof that Apple is no longer a leader or innovator in the Mobile Computing market. They just follow right along.
It’s bad when everyone but Apple does it. When they do it, they’re being inspired and improving a concept.
$170! And people bitched about the Surface type cover’s price tag.
I think when Steve Jobs was talking about a stylus, he was probably talking about a stylus as a primary interface device. Not as an artistic tool, which is what this is clearly designed for.
That’s what I was thinking too. My first thought was “damn it, and I bought a surface six months ago!” Then I looked at the specs and thought, “enjoy your expensive netbook, suckers!”
Office 2016 for PCs is coming, which supports better touch support. It is just that the release schedules are tied with a bunch of other products (look up Microsoft “Wave” releases). iOS software doesn’t have to follow the Wave release schedule.
I get it, you hate Microsoft. That’s great. But to say iOS is MORE useful than Windows.....please. The least you could do is brag about OS X.
Star of the show - Microsoft. Not only do you prove you were “right” with the Surface - you are the FIRST developer on the stage after they show off your Surface Pro clone! Do they have pants that can hold their huge sack? Awesome.
A Surface clone minus the adjustable kickstand and the full power of an actual operating system.

You don't need to buy it for it to be true. Serif fonts don't scale down as well, never have. Legibility at small resolutions is a big part of why we have comic sans.
The worst offender is this writer for CNN:
as if the magnetic field was transferred through an extra special dimension
But does the field take the same amount of time to go from point A to point B with the tunnel as without? If it does, I don’t think it’s a wormhole, it’d just be a magnetic invisibility cloak.
Looks like you can. There’s another screenshot showing a “Widescreen” toggle.
