I disagree on me being one of the few. Every article I've read (which, admittedly, is only about 5) on Win8 - including this one - expresses at best ambivalence and at worst total dislike of "Metro". How about Blizzard? How about Valve? Are they part of my "few"?

I like. I loved the story for TFU1 and liked the story for TFU2. I thought they were every bit as good as EP1, 2, or 6. And for the "fanboys" that complain about the prequels: Jedi sucked worse than an army of cloned Jar Jar's. I'll take EP1, 2, or 3 over 6 ANY day of the week!!

I was surprised at how once I got an hour or 2 into the game, I couldn't stop playing it. The immersion was damn-near complete for me and I think it's a top-notch game. I'm not getting it tattooed on my ass or nothing. (As far as you know.....) I just enjoyed it.

I don't get the impression that, in the game, the slow-mo affects anyone other than the person doing it. So, if we're playing co-op, you could slow-mo all you wanted while I did not and it wouldn't affect me.

I agree. Vanquish was one of the best games you've never played; without a doubt! You throw co-op story or a horde mode on that shit? I'd be STILL playing it!
