Oh! We didn't try that but we did do doggie acupuncture - it didn't seem to help him. I'll see if there's a doggie chiropractor we can take him to. Thanks for the suggestion!

Obviously it hit the wrong note with my daughter who is extremely protective of anyone (animal or human) that can't care for themselves. She was ready to call her up and say everything I was thinking but I think we took the high road and, really, we got Rusty too. So she can kiss it. ;)

He really is a joy. He's an old curmudgeon and he's really hysterical with the other pups. Oddly enough he's the alpha male and is very protective of me. If I'm in a room he's in the doorway watching out for wayward kidnappers! <3

As I said and will say again - my experience and my opinion comes from my very good friend who was quite young and physically forced to undergo this and has never and probably will never recover from this physically or emotionally.
