I understand the point you're making...but the question then becomes 'when is it viable?'. I think that anyone here can respond that as our medical knowledge increases, so the age of viability decreases. It's what, 26 weeks now...some even earlier?

I have been reading some of the comments below and I feel like I've got to say this and get it out. I am pro choice. I have voted that way every single chance I have had to do so. I have helped friends and family who were in need of an abortion for various reasons achieve them.
These assholes plan to protest the funeral of one of our local kids who died in Afghanistan. He has a wife who's due to deliver their first child in September and parents who are probably in agony over his death and his family and our community has to deal with this crap. I'll be one of those standing there holding…
I'm a white woman so my opinion probably doesn't matter but I cannot, for the life of me, picture anyone saying that natural hair is less professional or feminine. I have friends with natural hair and I swear I'd kill to have that much beauty - it's eye catching and it makes me think of strength and the core of what…
When I have PMS I want everyone to die in a fire. That I set.
I always find myself pondering how it is that my coworkers can be such good people and such racist, hateful idiots all at once. It really is a conundrum.
South Florida. Sounds like your coworkers might be kin to mine!
Thanks. Day two and I already caved - had a grilled cheese. And a few spoonfulls of butter pecan. Though, in my defense, I had a seriously killer migraine which took not one but two prescription pills to fully squash and I was four hours away from home with my kid at the specialists. Sooo...I guess tomorrow is day 2,…
Ohhhh, I'd love it if there were other Jezzies down here but I'm thinking that South Florida isn't really the Jezzie loving area that the north is!
Well, I don't know how much help it will be but here are my two personal interactions with the religion.
I started a very serious diet today to get rid of the extra person I've gained since heartbreak central took over my psyche a year or so ago. I'm not normally one of those people who diets...I just eat right and work out and I'm usually good but this has reached the point of being dangerous to my health, not to…
Past president. Wish they had the power they used to but they just don't.
But you are talking about the American school system here, who did in fact send the letter home via the child. Without an envelope. Three times.
There's no such thing as a school doctor here in the us. You'll be lucky to have a school nurse who's anything more than a health aid who can hand out pads when a girl is in need.
I never said that you did advocate taking away exercise; I stated that this is the school's stance. You know, the same school systems that want to send letters telling you your child is fat...and thus in need of exercise.
God there are so many things wrong with your comment that I don't even know where to begin. But I suppose your first paragraph is as good a place as any.
Hahaha ~wiping tears of mirth away
How about when my son has a disease which requires medication, and that medication in turns causes him to gain weight the school just stay completely out of it? His nine year old budding sense of self is already screwed up enough having to deal with randomly shouting out a laugh akin to Woody The Woodpecker on meth.…
Wow. And ewww. Mostly ewww.
