Dr. Ulrich is going to be mighty disappointed, I don't see an overall win for a DP unless they really neuter the P2 cars. We all know the LMP's are the premier prototype class, but USCR seems to be convinced that DP is best for being most popular (which I really haven't seen much evidence for anyway.)
I was going to comment on the fact that Nissan in a global brand, but divisional? Doesn't sound like a big promotion from CEO.
I don't know, I've seen the T127 (or 8 I don't remember which) up close and the engineer informed me that the suspension bits were steel. I have a feeling without weight spec it would have been a fatty.
Nope, Travis is correct.
As a former comma addict myself that first one makes me cringe.
Pretty sure it's km. But since V8SC are traditionally a sprint format, there's probably a 200km quali, and a 200km feature. It think.
Do we want a Cherokee-based Comanche? Or a Grand Cherokee-based J10?
I actually think the Raider didn't look so bad... now 3rd and 4th gen Dakota on the other hand... AND ANOTHER THING! That's no Raider, the real raider was a Pajero!
This is waaay better than TunnelBear
One final correction. The Cossie Sierra coupes, such as the R500 were RWD. The Sierra Saphire saloon RS Cossie could be had in AWD with the 4x4.
Let's see, we've got Bathurst, Sebring, Spa, and Le Mans between now and mid-June...
I'm going to have to agree with you on that one. The v8 sounds amazing, but that's probably one of the best sounding v6's... ever. That being said, the sound of the 5.0l cannot be compared to anything in full race trim. I think RSR's failed XKR-RS GTE cars were probably the best sounding cars on track (apart from the…
As Stated earlier, Mark Utech of Mayhem racing runs (ran) one. He used to have a few photos in a gallery from the 2008 LSPR that seems to have disappeared in the various updates. (article here http://jalopnik.com/5137857/2008-lake-superior-performance-rally)
I feel like this doesn't have the original Ferrari V10. Definitely a V10, but my guess is Judd. That's a popular swap for F1 car owners that don't want to deal with the pneumatic valves and all of the proprietary hardware/software required to run it. I see a local Benetton B197 at Road America every year that runs…
Whilst I appreciate the idea of it having a half mile turning circle and think it would be hilarious, I think they also have an opportunity here to explain how it actually turns and maybe make a bit of a lesson of it, rather than just writing it off like so many other Deltawing nay-sayers.
Race car engine with newly reversed heads! I love that packaging, it's nearly got exhaust stacks. Also, I wonder if it's remained a stressed member along with the gearbox like in the RS Spyder. I would imaging this might increase production price of the engine, and pose some durability problems, but I'm sure the…
Hey I just did that last bit over the weekend. That 30 Rock sure is some potent stuff. Should have never put my head on that pillow on the couch where I know I began.
Will they be running both the /80 and the /60 as p1 cars in ALMS? Or will the /60 be for ACO sanctioned events only? Pretty sad to hear about the Oryx car, I was excited to see them field 3. Just curious, where are you getting all this info? Mulsann'e Corner or the likes? Or can we consider you to be somebody on the…
