I'm glad to see that The Rescue Ship is getting restored finally. It set neglected at the Alabama State Fairgrounds for years. Mr. Perry's family tried to buy the car back and even some mechanically inclined police officers asked to restore it.

Boy, this whole tale really warms my heart. I remember hearing about him and I'm sure I saw that episode of That's Incredible because I watched that show religiously as a tyke. The fact that Batman Willie's never been forgotten and they're restoring that car makes me proud to be a human being.
