Baton Rouge.

I have been watching some early Wild Wild West lately and Jaws is in that. Even Robert Conrad and his gadgets couldn’t take on Richard Kiel. He got his ass kicked just like Bond.

The other season one ep. that I went back and watched again that was part of the reason I became a fan was Ice. That one also held up well. Humbug may be overall my favorite X-Files.

If you watch Panic in the Streets (1950), which is a good pandemic movie, you will hear real authentic New Orleans accents because many of the cops and coroner’s office people were locals.

Titus Welliver in that ep., who I wouldn’t have known then. Darkness Falls may have been the first X-Files I taped on VHS, or I started taping them shortly thereafter, and I still have all the original airings on tape in a closet. All of NewsRadio too.

I always liked the guys going around sweeping up after the Guild Navigator.

They’ve been here for a long, long time.

Recently I went back and watched the first one I can remember seeing, Darkness Falls, and thought it was great. I just stick to the monster of the week eps. Humbug, also great.

I watched The Spy Who Loved Me pretty recently. I’ve got about 10-12 007 on DVD and a couple on Blu-ray, and I grew up with Roger Moore so I always liked those too. A friend of mine knew Somerhalder before he got famous. He had a script he was passing around trying to get people to read.
