Steve Martin is the biggest dick in Hollywood not named John Cusack or Jeremy Piven. Total asshole. Gawker years ago had a story in the comments from someone who had a bad run in with him. Terrible to behind the scenes people.

I had this taped on VHS from AMC or something but it was the first time to watch it since then. I thought the photography in the nearly completely dark portions was nicely done. Very funny Lorre in those scenes in the dark. The cellar too has some nicely shot scenes. Sol Polito cinematography.

Yes, the scene where he stomps on Jonathan’s foot and there is no reaction, and then he starts stabbing him in the leg with a fork is very funny. He did the recognition face when they both ended up on the window seat together.

I watched Arsenic and Old Lace for the first time in a long time and it was wonderful. Lorre and Raymond Massey in particular are great together.

No, the point being that people who had never used Kinja before would be better served if they familiarized themselves with some of the aspects that weren’t completely terrible. I had never used Disqus until last year and I hated it. It’s awful, but after a while I could use it reasonably well. I still don’t like it.

It wasn’t funny at the time but I was in one of the markets where a LOST season finale had a glitch in the feed and the picture froze up for the majority of the broadcast. They had to replay it the next weekend. I called the local station the next day just to talk to the woman who was given the job to field the calls.…

One of the reasons I was so pissed off is that season five was great. Big comedown.

For people that don’t know, here are a couple of examples of amateur Kinja group blogs that get a lot of traffic. One cars, the other science fiction/fantasy, etc.

Ha. That’s true but Kinja is free and the commenters could have had their own place to complain and post and it may have made the transition a little bit easier. When you have your own space you can make the rules as you see fit and cover the topics you want to cover.
