I made a big pot of meaty tomato sauce last week. The independent grocery I go to has a rack in front of the wine section with a bunch of tiny bottles of different kinds of wine.

They did a Star Trek episode called "Cat Trek".

I think I saw on Antiques Roadshow that a U.S. one-sheet for Metropolis has never been found and would be a "Holy Grail" find for movie posters.

Finally saw that a couple of years ago when I found the DVD at the library. First thing I noticed was that it was a black and white film with no white in it. I read later that Lynch went so far as to dye shirt cuffs to keep everything grey. I'm glad I finally saw it but I have no desire to see it again. The story

One way to make a different macaroni & cheese is to throw in some leftover chicken, or some ham cut into little cubes, or if you're really feeling crazy, crawfish tails.

Good one. I liked it the first time I read it but I was young and it was before I read science fiction. Revisited it years later and couldn't get into it. I am an oddball in that I didn't really start getting into SF until my mid-20s. Didn't start getting into science until my 30s. At this rate I'll be reading
