off topic rant but the 512mb ram in those consoles is really holding the consoles back graphically. The game devs have been complaining about it. Hence why BF3 console has half the players and the textures are nowhere near as good as PC. This seems to be a problem in every console towards the end of its life.

if they wanted to make the screen bigger in the same device change that button at the bottom, it hogs so much space its not even funny. More screen space can be had shrinking the bezel up top

Prime has no physical buttons so they are able to extend the screen all the way to the bezel, so it may be as big as a current 4.3" device

what a sorry apologetic excuse for defending the 3.5" screen. I'm average height wear medium gloves and I can reach the entire screen on my Samsung Galaxy 5" media player with my thumb with a one handed grip.
