Jerks still haven't sent me mine :'( #googlewave

Looks more like the alien ship from the 50's War of the Worlds is poking in.

@dane000: That's my only qualm with the setup right now.

Wow this is really cool. I've been needing a new rainy day project.

@virgilstar: Oddly for me, being super polite to the officers usually just makes them angrier since it becomes obvious they're not getting into your head and thus try harder to do so. I once had to ask an "officer" (he was really a campus cop for the nearby university) 5 times what I was being charged with before I

@ploopsy: Phew, my job is safe, yet.

@robogobo: "which is worse, arrogance or snobbery?"

Too bad it doesn't translate, which is what people most use these type services for in the first place.

Wow, I had this EXACT issue no less than two weeks ago. Searching fora fix yielded no results but now it's gone away since I started using Win7.

As the old dude stuck in the oil tank in Waterworld said right before he got blowed up:

@Ajtai: Tin foil likes to crinkle and make glare spots on your subject, though. It's far too thin to stay rigid and pristine to reflect the light evenly. You're better off with a plain white surface if you don't have a uniform reflective surface (like an aluminized bounce screen) or similar bounce apparatus.

That's pretty much how I do product shots when the weather's nice, otherwise I just use the light box in the back room.

I mainly use mine in the outdoors, so my vote is for the gpsmap (which I also own). However, for road navigation I'd go with the tomtom. Having used them both here in the US and all over Europe I can attest to their awesome usability for the price.

@TheFu: But that keeps the market fresh! You can't be cool unless you have the latest and greatest in blu-ray players. It's like walking into an A&F store with last year's threads on.

My thoughts? Only one thing: Duh (while doing that sarcastic House head thing he always does)

@FooSchnickens: Almost forgot, there are a few companies that sell AC Bombs. Think bug bombs but for your cabin filter.

Another thing to keep in mind is what TYPE of refrigerant your car uses.
