As I said, abrasive.
As I said, abrasive.
The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position. This is something you are guilty of.
They really don't. He's actually an optimist more often than not. Critical, sure, but not cynical. The most obvious cases of this are the videos for games he wanted to believe would do well but didn't.
He did mention that several times, however. And he did touch on the poor aspects. But aye, he didn't quite bash it as fully as he would some games.
A lot of people hate him because, in their eyes, he's damaging to the industry for the way he critiques both large games and small games in the same often ham-fist manner. Many people don't like to see indie devs, even bad ones, suffer.
That's one thing I've heard even the people who hate TB admit. He favours honesty above many other things.

Holy shit you are so dense. Are you sure you aren't a 6-year old yourself? I gave you the price point for indie games on the platform indies are most popular on and you call the variance that exists an exception to your rule.
Mhm. So you have gone from the turbulent position of there being an indie price to there being rough guidelines defined by a system already abolished to there being large exceptions to these pricing guidelines to there being no set price range with only standard market forces in play.
Being odd? I'm calling you out on complete and utter bullshit. Game prices vary for indies based upon what they choose to charge.
Indies have been going a long time before XBLA. They set the prices themselves. That is part of being indie. You're just spouting your bullshit as if it's relevant or true. For a start, PSN doesn't set prices. Perhaps if you knew anything about the industry you would know that...
Let us look at steam then:
Yeah... No. That's not really the case at all.
I dunno why but I always think that Putin and Schwarzenegger look very similar.
Haha. Considering how the ending for this steam game is I think you are right about the nostalgia stuff. Compare that ending above to these... Well... Yeah :P
To be fair, the indoctrination stuff wasn't just in the codex but was also a part of several books. :p
Are you sure they didn't plan to charge $30? Since when has there even been an "indie price"?
As I said, go take an English comprehension class. I'm bored of your prattle. You fail to comprehend that the main flaw, above the technical aspects of the previous one, is the fact it and controllers like it are just not capable at immersing you in a game's world.
I find the macro keys for the 510 to be some of the most handily placed buttons. It allows for easy access to a full range of Alt+1-alt+= or a full range of F keys without having to stretch your left hand.
How can you effectively come to a conclusion about a product that hasn't even hit the market yet?
