Luckily for me the rocks near where I was were fairly dangerous due to constant gales. And I was always really good at climbing. Only a close friend of mine could climb as well as me. It also helped that the little 'caves' in the cliff face were hard to find unless you knew of them.

Yes. That was a joke. :p

I hated it when people would come and speak to me. So I would go rock climbing during lunches and eat my lunch and spend the time halfway down a cliff.

Never suggested role models. I suggested that it creates a relaxed and comfortable attitude towards the symbols and figures involved in pictures and the like. When they learn about WW2 they might view the actions of those people with less disdain. Of course, if the tone was correct then they would view those figures

I know all of this already. There was no need to write it all down for my purposes.

At a time when the population of the world was between 200-250 million that's quite a lot. Do the math; That's 4-5% of the population of the world. Perhaps more.

The glorification comes in the tone of the place. Kids pick up on atmosphere very easily and associate it with things. They could take a relaxed and comfortable environment to mean that the uniforms, flags, etc are all relaxing things free of any symbolic meaning.

I feel this is an important point.

There are several such places throughout the middle-east. Muslims, in general, view the crusade era with a great deal of curiosity.

You should look at the An Lushan Rebellion. (And a number of other Chinese rebellions.)

You can't really compare the atrocities committed by the Nazi party with that of the tyranny of colonial Empires. Hitler suggested to the British, for example, a way to solve the "Indian problem." (This was actual advice that he thought was useful. He wanted Britain to ally with him.)

She's a strong woman who need no man.

He also said before the above quote, "Yeah, I'm messed in the head alright."

The example you give here is a lot worse than the actual case.

I feel I should correct you.

I'm not using circular logic. You clearly can't understand the point I am making as your entire point is irrelevant. I am talking about how groups are never clear cut. Not about how certain things are passed off as something they are not.

There is no single manifesto and ideology behind communism. Or capitalism. The type that manifested in the Soviet Union is the only type that has ever been implemented and is, as such, the de facto meaning of Communism. But other kinds could have existed.

That analogy is a bit false. It's more akin to calling a Rottweiler a dog when we have not seen any other breeds. There are other forms of dogs that could exist. But as far as we are concerned Rottweiler=Dog because it is the only dog we have been exposed to.

Germans.

Works in Scotlandland as well.
