Glove box trunk release buttons were a ‘90s GM thing too. When I was a kid we had a ‘93 Pontiac Grand Prix and the trunk button was in the glove box. Interesting side note the glove box had a combination lock instead of a traditional key lock.

Almost as good as Howard the Duck.
I have a Polestar and get stares, questions every time I am in it or entering it.
From what I know, lots of people are interested in an EV that looks like a regular car and can be purchased like a regular car. Baby steps. Going all in on Tesla with their centralized everything-on-the-screen interface + buying online without being able to actually select their vehicle off the lot is too much all at…
There’s also a middle ground that I think the Polestar hits. It’s unique, but still relatively sane looking as a car. It turns heads a little because it’s unique.
“Why can’t hybrids and EVs just look like normal cars?” - people who aren’t out there buying hybrids and EVs.
As a classic car owner, I imagine this couple just wants to cruise and enjoy local shows, not spending all their time busting knuckles and passing each other wrenches during a restoration.
For me some days it is about the poll as much as the car, and I am happy to say that it looks like a majority of people here recognize the early chrome bumper styling of the C3 Corvette, a big block, a four speed, and stock appearance are worth something.
Finally. After a week and a half of trolling us with the wildest No Dice picks you could find, you come across with the good stuff. Big-block, four-speed Corvette convertible in Resale Red, at a price right at the very bottom of the market.
I’m not a “Vette guy”, but this one checks all the right boxes. I’ll even accept the red (not my favorite color for a car) and the beige interior (I mostly hate beige anything).
^^^^ Had an ‘84 Anniversary Trans Am with a glass t-roof. Can concur on the rattle issue.
Aston Martin has always been the super luxury sports car maker to me. As Jeremy Clarkson put it, a car that you could drive to the track and then drive to the opera that night.
1st gear - i own a 2015 nissan and i have had 2 sentra’s over the years that were great daily drivers because they were bulletproof and i was poor. My 2015 xterra has also been excellent so far even though i take it regularly into the backcountry and tow w/it. So..im pro Nissan.
Nostalgia.
Why would someone buy a new Camaro SS, which is miserable to ride in, impossible to see out of, and a pain to insure? Because their buddy had a ‘68 in high school.
I like Nissan. They aren’t always perfect, and have had a bad run recently, but that doesn’t mean I rush to defend them. I am also an Arizona…
It’s not clear from the ad whether all these things are completely broken or just wonky. The sunroof should definitely be tip-top for that sort of money, but it would be silly to replace the fuel gauge sender if it resides with the fuel pump in the gas tank. Just replace the pump when it goes. I have a similar issue…
I get that brand/model nomenclature can be a bit esoteric, but “Husky Viking” really didn’t make the English translation cut.
Come on, it sounds like a chubby Norwegian, shirtless in a furry vest with horns on his helmet.
And we all know that’s the Harley Davison demographic.
I like the looks of these; stylish and elegant for a wagon. BUT that price for that kind of mileage is insane. I don’t care how lovingly it has been cared for and all the maintenance records, stuff is going to fail on a regular basis once you’ve made one trip to the moon . . . Ain’t the years, it’s the mileage that…
I’m sorry your wife is immuno-compromised. But that’s your problem, not the world’s problem.
Evan’s even reached the point where he’s let friends borrow the [Scat Pack] Challenger for weeks on end
The original I6 is based on a 1939 Chevy design. Like the AMC 258, their time has passed.
