Some of us have been to Texas and know first hand it’s just Burger King in budget packaging though. 

The closest plane to the Sea Duck is a Grumman Goose, although the Sea Duck has a P-38 tail rather than the Goose’s tail. The Sea Duck was one of my favorite planes as a kid.

They don’t need a new 280Z, they need a new 510 that can be had in a coupe, sedan, or wagon to maximize sales over the platform. While the Z cars are cool, they are basically toys. Something you can put a family in is what keeps your bread buttered.

The design is too busy, the 8C does everything better as far as design goes. I guess it is prettier than a second gen Viper though. 

V’ger?

You can pretty easily get F-250s in the $50k range if you don’t feel you need heated, massaging leather seats, and on board datalinks. An F-250 starts at $33,705 according to Fords own websites. 

Well, if you need a small bed and lowish tow rating I can get you their number. Their cheapest, bare bones Gladiator is newly price adjusted to $35k, they have two Rubicons, one for just over $60k, and one at $56k.

That’s the problem, you can get a bigger, more capable truck for the same money. There were plenty of Gladiators at the local Jeep dealership for well into the $50k range. That’s 3/4 ton truck money. I love the idea of a Wrangler pickup priced to compete with midsize offerings, not so much priced against 1/2 to 3/4
