Wranglers already have pretty good resale values, I’d bet you’d get every penny you spent on a diesel back if you go to sell it on later. Remember the used market value differences between the old 4 cylinder Wranglers and 6 cylinder Wranglers?

Lefse and rommegrot were always my favorite part of of going to the big family Christmas party at the great grandparents as a kid. My great grandmother came from Norway when she was seven.

I was in Okinawa in 99 and 01, sub $1k Skylines were all over the place on the bases. A comm guy the next barracks over had an immaculate R32 GTST that he “went big” on and got for around $3,000.

This one is neither Nice Price, or Crack Pipe. It’s right at the top of the range for what a Cruiser head would pay for it. I just can’t get past the LX470's nose, personally. I’d love to have a nice 100 series Land Cruiser though.

Nice example of a car I remember fondly from my childhood. Not the one I’d pick, but pretty close. They aren’t asking silly money for it, you couldn’t get into a targa top MR-2 in comparable condition for this money. NP.

and if they do, it won’t come to the US. Honda hates us.

I’d say its less a reliability issue and more of a unwillingness to compromise performance issue. From what I’ve read, the Taycan will let you have full performance every time you put your foot down until the battery is gone. A Tesla P100D will give you a couple runs in Ludicrous mode before it reigns it in to save

My grandparents had a 91 Tempo when I was a kid, I pretty much learned to drive in it. So while its cool to see one in good shape, it’s not $7k gotta have it cool. CP all day.

Come on now, the Chinese are well known for their love of outsiders and concern for social justice and equality. Nobody who isn’t ethnically Han has EVER suffered under the rule of the PRC.

I have a buddy with a 72 K5 Blazer for unadvertised sale, but my mean ol significant other says if I want another old 4 wheel drive I have to get rid of the one I have, and my Land Cruiser isn’t going anywhere.

It’s Ford’s new model aimed at Formula D.

It looks like something from Rockstar games. If I had spiked, mulleted hair, Oakley Blades, a pair of Zubaz, a Bo Knows t-shirt trimmed to show midriff, and some Reebok pumps on this would be right up my alley. But seeing the car they started with, and what they ended up with can’t get a NP in good conscience. Even if

My old 93 Eddie Bauer Explorer had ABS, so I’d think it would be reasonable to guess a Grand Cherokee would too. But that Explorer ABS was absolute garbage on slick roads, the pedal would lock up and the system would make a terrible buzzing sound while you only slightly slowed down.

I’ve got to work on an “electric” fuel shark!

I got all excited when I heard about this motor, then I got a look at it. Looks way too tall to fit into a 60 series Land Cruiser without a spring over axle swap. They couldn’t figure out a skidplate to make the motor work in a Z71? They would be kind of big for the trails, but a 33mpg off road ready SUV would be

Retouched or not that’s a lot of scratch for a car that debuted for under $70k, over a decade ago...

That was an AMC Matador coupe. I think this is from Man With a Golden Gun.

It’s common knowledge that intensive government involvement NEVER fucks things up.

A take so hot I’d bet you had to type it with oven mitts on.

The people you speak of have bought everyone they need to to keep doing what they are doing. Even the ones you’ll eventually vote for.
