You damn near can’t kill a slant 6, and with a strait body I’d go NP all day. When I was 7 I spent a couple weeks with my aunt, who was my grandmothers sister. She had a 69 or 70 340 Dart Swinger with a four speed. Being from a household that always had a few musclecars I didn’t think it was too out of the ordinary.

How seriously can we take people who spell Jeff as Geoff?

I was just going to say “I saw an article with an electric F-150 towing a freight train on this very site!”

It’s not the fighting that we suck at, it’s the “nation building” that we haven’t been able to do right since Japan and Germany. Then you have congress, who would demand ROE that would protract fighting to ensure their defense contractor investments blossomed. Iran’s military, and the Revolutionary Guard would be fish

For the money he’s asking you aren’t far off of a 1JZ-GTE powered JZA70 Supra. I saw one a couple years ago for $22k with just over 70k miles from an importer.

As a guy who’s been semi seriously looking for a MKIII Supra for about 3 years this is complete CP. For the money he’s asking there are too many miles, and too much fraying around the edges on this car. Chips on the paint, and ragged trim pieces won’t cut it at $15k. That said, it does have the right options on it.

Oh I agree. They just don’t harp on the biggest offenders because it’s a bad look to tell a bunch of non white people living off of a fraction of what the average westerner gets that they should stop trying to grow economically. That, and China would likely just give them the finger and continue doing exactly what

Going after third world deforestation and industrial pollution doesn’t stick it to the fat cats doing corporatey things in the western world, so we won’t focus on those!

For me it’s the GT40 MKII. I come from a Ford family, my great aunt still has a 1929 Model A that her grandparents bought new. I don’t know if there would be anything cooler than a NASCAR spec 427 side oiler howling a little more than a foot from the back of your head with little more than aircraft grade aluminum

One thing to watch for on the 300 six is if it is “making oil.” That’s an indicator of the diaphragm in the fuel pump shitting the bed and dumping fuel into the crank case. My old 1980 F100 did it, but I caught it quick and no harm was done, but it can kill a camshaft if not caught. I got my F100 for $500, and it

The MKIV Supra was a bit of a sales flop when it was new, my local Toyota dealer had a 96 twin turbo Supra on the lot well into 1998 because they wouldn’t budge on the $38k asking price. I’m sure the new NSX will find an audience later on down the road.

If I was going into Land Rover hell it would need to be for a Disco or Defender. The Range Rover’s just never tripped my trigger, and this is pretty easily the worst looking generation. Add the reliability enhancing characteristics of a blower, and it becomes a solid no at any price let alone the better part of $13k.

Sure, you can lay this at the feet of old, white, male republicans, but it doesn’t change the fact that the lions share of pollution and carbon being spewed into the oceans and atmosphere are coming from China, who isn’t on board with cleaning up. At what point does anyone lean on them?

But it’s a trigger word for Americans. My favorite is referring to someone losing their minds as coming uncunted. Either they stop and laugh, or they continue on the route they were on.

A 902 pea viner is the biggest thing I’ve driven, they go about a quarter mile an hour when harvesting, they will do about 20mph down the road. I ran one during the summer of 2003.

Lot’s of fun. We used to use our M113's in Iraq to do vehicle breaches of courtyard walls and warehouse doors.

I did buy a 2013 FR-S, it was fine for day to day driving, and not hard to keep in power if you needed to. As for the torque curve, a fix was only a unequal length header away. When I had it most of my driving was done above 5,500 feet in elevation. If I hadn’t needed something that babied better, I’d still have it.

CP, wrong engine (plus a Grand National died for this), wrong transmission, and the tail lights don’t look good at all on this. If I was going to pay new car money for a kit car I’d want my Daytona to be a coupe. Cars built to a specific persons taste, especially when their tastes are offbeat, are not that far

Kind of hard to gauge from the pictures but it looks like it has upwards of 6 inches of clearance, and being electric it wouldn’t be hard to add all wheel drive. It will be interesting to see what turns up when these things start appearing in the flesh.

Now why wouldn’t something like that be built on site, rather than built and transported through a tight European village?
