In high school I had a 78 Cougar XR-7 that I got off my aunt (original owner) for $3,500, this was in 1998. It had 62,000 miles on it’s 351W and after an afternoon of buffer work it looked showroom new. 70's V8 rear wheel drive cars get shit on, but I don’t think I’ve been in anything since that was as comfortable to

If you settle for someone who is with you based on what you drive you deserve what you get. But my fiancé has had to come to terms with the fact that my FJ62 Land Cruiser and I are a package deal, lol.

Come on?! You don’t think Jack “Bam Margera” Sparrow Euron is a big bad?

I agree with the early 80 series Land Cruiser suggestion. The 3FE they have keeps their prices out of the FZJ Cruiser stratosphere, but you still have a fuel injected motor capable of a half million miles or more, and the FJ80 Cruisers aren’t quite as luxury oriented as the later FJZ80 Cruisers. Should you get bit by

That was one of my favorite toys as a young kid!

My 4th grade teacher bought one brand new, she got a picture with the entire class packed in like sardines. Seeing one in the wild always brings back fond memories.

Here’s mine.

This isn’t salting your steak before tasting it, it is putting proven components into a competition oriented machine. Who in top level professional drifting is running BMW mills? Why do you suppose they aren’t? There is a vast chasm between a street motor, and a competition motor.

I have a TDi Jetta Sportwagon and it does just fine. It passes at highway speeds with no problem and pulls from a stop just fine. The big selling points were that it has as much room as the 4Runner it replaced while averaging 40mpg. Sure, it’s not a sports car, but I have a different car for that sort of thing. I

Carroll Shelby always used to say “There is nothing as worthless as last years racecar.” “

It looks like a Chinese knock off of a BMW....

I’d have to say the 40 series Land Cruisers could fit on this list. Everyone will stop and look at a nice example.

If you live in a state with a Democrat stranglehold on the governers office you’ll never see sub $2 a gallon gas. In Washington we barely broke below $3 a gallon.

I think most of the people excited for the new Supra aren’t old enough to remember what MKIV Supras sold for new. In the 90’s our local dealership had one on the lot at $38,000 for two years, they never lowered the asking price on it from 1996-98. That was firmly into Corvette money in those days. Anyone expecting

The one guy was running a 61 Galaxie Starliner. He’s obviously living his best life.

They do have the Street 500 and 750, but there isn’t much of a push behind them.

Absolute truth! My battle rattle in Iraq came in at exactly 90 pounds, and I usually left a bunch of shit I didn’t use behind. If I had to take my ruck, it usually weighed no less than 95 pounds. I weighed 163 pounds in Iraq. I could carry it all, all day if I had to, but nearly 15 years later my knees and ankles are

FoMoCo owns Cyclone as it was the Mercury version of the Torino.

Nope, he got to spend some time in County lock up.

My mom got a 75 Mach 1 as a high school graduation present from my grandparents just like this one. My dad killed it by jumping a railroad crossing and shearing off the oil pan running from the cops.
