Decent Grand Cherokees go for Decent 60 series Land Cruiser money. I might be a little biased, but given the same budget, I think Land Cruisers are just a little cooler.

It’s funny, when I was just starting high school in the mid 90's people thought Chevy Berettas were the shit, and you were winning at life if you drove one, by the time I graduated high school, you didn’t see them any more. Nowhere.

An article I’d read on MSN yesterday said it is going to California where one of the guys owns a shop, and it will get a full restoration. I’m curious to see how much it eventually goes for because someone is going to give them silly money for it.

Bleh, not enough horsepower, I’m going to wait for the STi version and it better only cost $1,000 more than the base model and have 400 horspower! In seriousness, sometimes it really sucks to live in the US.

It would be a 400 horsepower shot.

I’ve seen two decently rare cars in the wild, both in Tokyo. One was a 300SL Gullwing, the guy driving it pulled up and came into a record store I was browsing in. The second was a GT40 at an Esso station, I can’t say whether or not it was a replica, but if it was, it was a meticulous recreation, much better than any

Get rid of your age limit, then look for a early 90's 80 series Land Cruiser. With a $10k budget a FJ80 could be had with enough money left over for some good mods. A later FZJ80 would have a lot more power, but they tend to cost a lot more, and a decent one would eat up your budget pretty quick. You don’t worry about

Of all the vehicles I’d imagine Martha Stewart owning, a 2006 single cab Super Duty with a plow was not among them.

The badges were on the nose and A pillars.

I did have a car impounded after some cops killed me. You have to go to the impound that Franklin delivers cars to for Tanya.

When I go out in my Ruiner 2000 I don’t worry about paying out 20,000 to pay for another players wrecked car. But blowing a few up does tend to keep them out of whatever neighborhood I’m trying to steal/sell cars, or run drugs in.

The 2006 didn’t really look much like any of the classics, but the restyles have all gotten closer to the second gen DNA. It makes me lust for a Scat Pack very much.

Well, when monopoly came out in the 30's the race car was a pretty generic shape for grand prix cars of the day, so I say go with a Formula 1 car.

The Dodge Charger seems to be doing well. The Polara name would have been more fitting, but it didn’t have the nostalgia kick the Charger name had. If they make it as capable or nearly as capable as a Wrangler Unlimited I can see the new Bronco doing just fine. Out where I am if you threw a rock at a Wrangler

I’d love a 930 Porsche 911, but I have 18 years before I’m an empty nester. By that time, if prices do drop soon, they will have gone back up and then some.

It looks fantastic, but at a mid $40k price range it is undercut by the Dodge Charger Scat Pack buy a decent margin. You’ll probably be able to get one of the lower level Alfa Romero Guilias in that range too. It’s a bold strategy, I hope it pays off for them.

They hired Karl Pilkington? Does this mean no more seasons of An Idiot Abroad?

I wonder how much more fun my FR-S would be with eight more cylinders?

One of my buddies and his dad were restoring a 69 Boss 302 when we were in high school. They were doing a “thoroughbred” restoration on it, which means everything original down to the factory grease pen markings. I last saw him ten years after graduation and they were still working on it. His other car was a 1972

Aren’t those motors subject to the 15,000 mile timing chain replacements? Granted, they don’t have to be dropped out of the car to replace like in the Ferrari counterparts, but they are probably the most expensive timing chains most people would buy in their life.
