It also doesn't have the external turbines, but whichever it is, it is pretty well stripped down.

That would be a CH-46, a Chinook is a CH-47, and much bigger.

Tell that to cops in the U.S. Whenever anything happens they are better equipped than your average infantryman in Iraq or Afghanistan were/are. Not to mention all the armored personnel vehicles they have. But this is getting off topic. It would be nice if folks would get through their heads that Clarkson is the

I would think they would do well in cities here, especially places where parking space is at a premium like San Francisco or Seattle. They wouldn't need to maintain highway speeds that much, and at $16,000 it would be a lot better on fuel than a Smart Car, or one of those horrible little Scion iQ's. It would be great

At least we won't have to listen to the beating of the "British Top Gear is better!" dead horse anymore.

The secret to diesel not having more of a foothold than it does is this. Democrat politicians are every bit as stupid as Republican politicians, just in different areas. They fight small diesel cars tooth and nail because when they hear diesel they think jacked up Dodge Rams spewing black smoke.

No Toyota Land Cruisers?

I'm surprised people are still surprised that a very light, very able to fit a well built V8, Mustang II can be built to perform well.

It was a different era back then. When my uncle ordered his 70 Eldorado he ordered the plumb colored interior. People were a bit more adventurous when it came to the color palette.

If you are willing to buy used www.landcruisersdirect.com have what you need. Most of the inventory comes from Japan and have a fraction of the miles they would had they been US vehicles.

A heavy machine gun would chew this thing up. The guys from Top Gear could design and build a better armored transport.

A coworker has one of the Eco Diesel Ram 1500 4x4's and it averages 28mpg on the highway. I was very impressed. His oil changes are in the neighborhood of $200 apiece though.

You could get a 1984 Mustang GT-350 with a 5.0 or a turbo 2.3. My dad has the turbo 4 convertible. That's also the car that got Shelby to sue Ford.

I would sooooo buy this for $8,500, if I wasn't already thousands of dollars deep in a 70 Mustang and 89 Land Cruiser.

You'd want a Cat 797, much bigger, you won't damage anything running over a bro jeep

a $70k supra is about $40k cheaper than a GT-R

You need to read up on the 3rd gen Turbo Trans Ams
