They did it first, we did it better...
I don't know what part of the country you are in, but Cruiser Outfitters in Salt Lake City works on these enough that they might keep at least some parts in stock, I'd hate to think what parts for a B series diesel cost over here though. I keep eyeing a HJ61.
He might find someone to buy it at that price, but it doesn't make it a nice price. It looks pretty comparable with a TLC restoration (ICON is a side business for TLC) and it's not very far off, and maybe a little cheaper than a TLC restoration would run you.
http://www.landcruisersdirect.com/ Check these guys out, they don't just bring over 70 series, they have HJ and BJ 60 series, and every so often a Hilux Surf will sneak into the inventory. By US standards they tend to be low mile rigs considering they are 25+ years old.
I don't know about that, in western Europe, north America, Japan, and probably Australia you see a lot of Prius on the road, but you get out of for lack of a better term, first world countries and nobody knows what a Prius is. I haven't been where people didn't know what a Corvette was, they have a cult following in…
If you were better at history you would know that most of the issues came about after WWI when countries like England and France divided the middle east into territories that they saw fit. I suppose ISIS is the US's fault because Obama didn't get his way with airstrikes to help them take Syria? Next time you share a…
Isn't it strange the people on whose behalf the president wanted to bomb Syria over, are the same people he is bombing in Iraq.
But still, this is a Gawker sight, so if you are American, you should feel bad about it.
For 23k they should fix the paint, brakes, and tires. Just because you dumped a metric ton of money into the car doesn't mean you are going to get it back when you go to sell it. I could get an early Z and build the hell out of it for what this guy wants for his, and it still needs work.
The victim isn't blameless, he should have stayed in his car, and not charged an open wheel race car. Tony definitely shouldn't have goosed the throttle to try to throw dirt at him, but had the kid stayed in his car, or at the very least, not ran into traffic to gesticulate at a moving car, he would still be alive…
The major service cost is what talked me out of getting a 308 after my Iraq deployment. If I remember, they are required every 15,000 miles. Knowing my level of restraint, I could easily make than an annual cost, I might be able to make it work, but that's a hell of a cost every 12-14 months. Having a Ferrari and only…
Ordered!
I used to LOVE Number Munchers when I was a kid
Consolation in being right? Isn't a disbelief in god as much an article of faith as belief in god? There is no absolute proof one way or the other.
My dad always had cool cars growing up, and being a child of the 80's there were always cool cars on TV. I read Jalopnik mostly just to see people bitch in the comments about the horsepower in the FR-S and BRZ.
It would be kind of like auto crossing a semi truck with a 50 ft trailer on it. Even fighter jets are assisted in ditching missile locks with chaff and flares, and that doesn't always work. An airliner is a big sitting duck for a missile defense system.
You're absolutely right, it's conservative republicans fault!
Doesn't Fiat figure into it? They currently only offer a wheeled thimble that's pretty decent on gas. That would work to offset the Challenger that has more horsepower than 7 500's.
