I think I drew this car when I was in second grade.

It took all of .002 seconds to pick the 1980 Audi Quattro.

People were selling these for under $1,000 on the base I was stationed on in Okinawa. A bottom of the line JDM Toyota does not a $10,000 car make.

Only living once is a perfect reason not to rent a Sebring. Lifes too short to put up with an indecisive gearbox and a motor that would be unrefined if it was built by Briggs and Straton. Then there is the Playskool quality interior where bits of it come right off in your hand.

As one of the teenagers that had the Viper GTS on his wall at the time I vote NP

Nice price for me, I can't explain or rationalize it. I just want it.

Uh... I'm an asshole and I split driving duties between my Explorer and 1970 Mustang sportsroof.

As a honkey, I wouldn't be caught dead in that Hongqi

Adam Ferrara is funny as hell, but whats he know about cars?

@scorp1us: I know heated seats were an option with the 05 Premium package, I'd imagine it's still an option.

Looks beautifully done, and it will kick the unsuspecting square in the nuts. NP.

I have to go crack pipe on this, it would be something I'd love to do on my own though. Anyone think its odd he has a no piston sticker on the firewall, yet he has eight pistons?

I could follow if he just said the Veyron was ugly, to me it looked like an overstyled new Beetle that was inflated then stepped on, but its hard to argue with the end performance results.

I'm kinda torn, I'd prefer the original motor, but at least its not a 350. The car itself looks to be in decent shape for an early Datsun 240. I'd have to say I'd probably buy it if I was closer, so NP, barely.

@clevemire: True, and Joe Blow has no idea that the Camaro has 200-300 more pounds to move with his extra 7hp.

I think its a close race between the Mustang and Civic based Hondas, with maybe the Hondas getting a slight edge. You see more godawful examples of the two than just about any from the others combined, mainly because the aftermarket is awash in completely tasteless body kits for the two cars, there is also a seemingly

Why not, it would be the project that keeps on giving (or taking, depending on your view) I vote nice price.

@Muscles Marinara: I remember reading something claiming that to be Uday Hussiens F40 in Iraq, he was an avid car collector when he wasn't busy raping and murdering.

You have to remember Toyota didn't have to deal with the UAW. Anyone that has had to deal with a union knows that it is their job to make sure NOBODY does anything that isn't in their job description. If you tighten lugnuts you in no way shape or form help the guy bolting on a facia. That inefficiency "protects jobs"
