Over in Amsterdam, Chelsea won the Europa Championship over Benfica 2-1 thanks to a last minute goal from Branislav Ivanovic. The victory comes one year after their unlikely win in the Champions League final. John Terry behaved like John Terry.

On a completely unrelated note, have you tried this place yet? Raysism, how about you? It sounds amazing! I may need to make a trip home to Tampa just to try the rattlesnake taco.

For what it's worth...

Never heard of it.

I have my dominant hand in a cast for a few weeks, and the stranger just doesn't work for me. Got any creative solutions?

I was at this game, and the best part of the whole game was when Robles gave up that late howler, Henry (who had been subbed out) just threw a bunch of papers up in the air in frustration, with a "what the fuck more do I have to do?" look on his face. I'd imagine he had some choice words for Robles in the locker room.

Still works, and it's still rife with unfunny, unoriginal trolls like you. The system works, indeed!

So why bother with the comment at all?

Just in time for him to take Emma's old position! Welcome, Chris!

The guys doing the commentary sound like absolute douchebags.

So now the best looking staff member is, who, Barry?

Agreed, although Chelsea's courtship of him really has to come to something eventually - he should've ended up there instead of Russia in the first place. In a more just world, I'd love to see him at White Hart Lane on the wing opposite Bale with Deuce in the middle.

Chelsea are going to be unstoppable next season with Mou, Falcao and Hulk, if the most common transfer rumors are to be believed. Looking forward to seeing Russian oil money battle Emirati oil money at Yankee Stadium in a few weeks.

+1

Even from the first minute, it just looked like Bayern were having a blast out there and Barca just wanted the whole thing to be over. An amazing and mercurial shitting of the bed by the supposed best team in history. I like Dortmund a lot, and Jurgen Klopp seems like he'd be a ton of fun to get drunk with, but I

Because he owns Man City, rumor is that it'll be officially announced at the Man City-Chelsea friendly at Yankee Stadium on May 25.

So, Germans are good at soccer, huh? Question is, will BVB (or anyone else in the Budesliga for that matter) be able to keep up with Bayern Munich enough to make the league interesting while Die Roten buys every decent player in the country. In addition to grabbing Gotze, rumor is that Lewy is headed to Munich too.

Word is that Lewandowski is headed to Munich too. But that didn't seem to distract him, or Gotze for that matter, at all. Here's hoping for a miracle in the return leg...
