Lay off Webster. He's had a hard enough time in the league.

"Bucketloads of cunt" is also how the perpetually-angry Dan Borislow refers to the WPS.

I don't particularly care for The Edge (residual loathing because I can't stand Bono) but that is a fucking fantastic documentary. Jack White is a genius.

Yeah, Buffett is definitely old school in that sense. It's just crazy to me that such a massive company has a website that looks like something an eighth grader could've designed in 1998.

Speaking of companies that you wouldn't expect to have absolutely atrocious websites, I've always been amazed that this is Berkshire Hathaway's ACTUAL WEBSITE.

I like how people always make such a big deal that CR7 scores so many penalties, and is thus inferior somehow. What they fail to mention, though, is that those numbers only stand out because Messi is relatively shit at taking penalties.

+1 (but I'm pretty sure it was their basketball team)

Oh my God. +1

I feel compelled to share this side-splitter.

Yeah, I tend to agree. It's the posts that have nothing to do with the story where it seems the worst puns tend to pop up. I've really opened Pandora's Box with this thread, haven't I?

Can't wait to see the grainy video of ThunderBug and Bucco Bruce "initiating" him.

+1

Sandusky jokes DUAN:

Hell yes. I do love the big band shows when he has proper horn accompaniment, but the solo gigs are fantastic in their own way, too. And if you have the chance to see him at the Saxon Pub or Antone's, it's just that much better.

The only thing I got out of this comment was the mental imagery of Drew hanging out in a phone booth, and then being kicked out.

Interesting points. I don't follow the EPL as closely as La Liga, but I do know Wenger has done a hell of a lot to turn the team around. Maybe now he's just a victim of his own success for not getting them some serious trophies. Seems to me like he had no choice but to let Fabregas leave, but I imagine he doesn't want

Ah, that's right. I forgot that Henry was still with the team - thought he had already gone back to NY. I do like RVP too, but honestly wonder how long he'll stick around. After losing Fabregas last summer, and with Wenger looking more like the incompetent Frenchman he is all the time, I wouldn't be terribly surprised

Yeah, the recap I saw on goal.com basically placed the blame on Walcott and Van Persie just forgetting to show up, except for one decent shot that RVP had. I mean, Milan aren't that good. How do you feel about the constant din of calls to fire Wenger? As I said, I have no particular loyalty Arsenal, but I'd like to

#SI-NERGY!

What the hell happened to Arsenal today?! I didn't get to see the game, and am pretty ambivalent toward both teams, but damn. I didn't think they'd shit the bed so badly.
