GM playing the numbers game again with peoples lives. Excuse me while I go get a real Hummer.

I got another “offer” from a Subaru salesman that is nearly identical to the one we got last week. I checked KBB and the wifes 2012 OB is listed at 22K for dealer trade-in value. We bought it in ‘12 for 25k. I’m pretty shocked at the demand for the OB these days, but I still don’t buy that they would do 24,600, even

Wow... gonna look into this further then. Thanks

I see what you mean. I just don’t understand the 25k. That’s what we paid new 3 years ago. The used market shows ones with more mileage selling for 18k. It seems the only way they could make money off us is by jacking up the new car price and financing the loan. I was just kinda surprised to see a Subaru dealer send

Can’t hear much due to all the tire squealing. I’m sure an aftermarket exhaust can liven it up a little.

I wan’t a “dune buster’!

My wife got one the other day from a Subaru dealership nearby (SoFlo). They were offering a guaranteed 25k for her 2012 Outback. Her OB is in superb shape with low miles, but I didn’t even try to find the asterik(s) because I knew that was flat out pure bullshit they were trying to shove our way. I chucked that m’fer

Yeah... fuck you, Bob! What Matt said +1. Fucker!

Ahhh.. what the heck. I’ll give it a chance and check it out.

I’m not gonna hate on these guys because they are out in BFE with a spotter. But if one of them got hurt? Then they have nobody to blame but themselves.

Definitely one of your better lists. The C3 body style is my favorite, but I’d have to get one with a more modern engine to make a commitment.

Tinted tail lights and headlights.

If anything, some likely decrease performance.

“and the 928 got only 18 years of production”

Hard to argue that. Could end up being Mercedes-like in depreciation.

Poor judgement by all. Even the pro’s fuck up now and then. Safety was obviously left on the back burner at this gathering. As for the guy that did the hit and run, it may have actually been wise to leave to avoid a mob or vengeance of some sort, but if they don’t turn themselves in right away (which appears to not

Yeah it looks like he went too far off on the 2nd to last corner. That appears why he was able to catch up so quickly. That was good stuff though!

I dunno... the guy has a golden voice, but these skits aren’t that great. Definitely good for a chuckle or two, so I gotta give ‘em that.

That’s a good point. I’m not sure of the rules. It could be that as long as part of the car remains on the course it is legal. I reckon you don’t see that often because it can easily lead to yanking you off course or slowing you down. I think there was a lot of luck involved with that move he made.

I also could not help but wonder if they were as shocked as the announcers. That was quite an impressive comeback. The lead was basically insurmountable.... or so it seemed.
