The cars were both a Hyundai Veloster with a bodykit to make them look like the Hot Wheels car. Beings that Fifth Gear accomplished the loop with a Toyota Aygo (a 67hp car) I would say that the Velosters were probaly done up to Rally Spec as far as the Drivetrain goes & nothing to to special.

As somebody who was a staunch supporter of the EA NASCAR series for years let me remind you of something. Their NASCAR games when there was competition in the market were amazing, however as soon as they acquired the exclusive license the quality started to go downhill & fast.
