From what I saw of this story yesterday, this was the first time this woman decided to go jogging. She's like a super-jogger.

Hmm...this reminds me of something. Oh, yes:

Watch it, Christy Duffy. If you don't get control of this thing now, the kids in town might even start dancing.

Database Error.

I save them, too. When I switched carriers several years ago, I even transferred a bunch of them to my computer so I could hold on to them. My (now-late) grandmother, towards the end of her life, got somewhat eccentric and gave absolutely no fucks what anyone else thought of her. I have dozens of voicemails from her

In my experience with iPhoto, you can only assign a location. You either have to track the GPS coordinates yourself or look up and assign a broader location using iPhoto's maps.

If you've ever seen the TV series M*A*S*H, one of the later episodes had two of the characters secretly ordering a collapsible bathtub thing from (I think) A&F. They were kind of a mail-order/catalog type store, I think.

The Betty White resurgence predates Rue's death, though. White hosted SNL and was cast in 'Hot in Cleveland' a few months prior. She was doing press for the latter when Rue became ill, and mentioned that she had sent a joking card saying "Dear Rue, Please don't get better. I want to be the only surviving Golden Girl."

I think a lot depends on where you live. When I've lived in cities, it was (depressingly) common. I'm now in a suburban but pretty walkable area, and rarely hear anything.

Please don't do this.

Circumference is really difficult to estimate. The one that always gets me is that three times the circumference of your head is approximately your height. It doesn't seem logical.

Exactly. I've long held the opinion that YA books (and middle grade books, to a certain extent) need to be well-written simply because teenagers and kids will rarely tolerate bullshit. If something isn't internally consistent or a character isn't characterized properly, they'll stop reading. Most adult novels seem to

So posting a photo of me reading a Massengill box will show how much I understand these guys?

I believe that's correct. Scuba rhymes with tuba, also a long-u one-b situation.

The original (British) chemist who isolated it called it 'aluminum' in his first publication. Another contributor, reviewing his work, felt that it didn't sound 'classic' enough, and used 'aluminium' instead. That's also why '-ium' is the suffix added to a number of other elements. I don't know why it's split between

Is Fred the successor to Max Headroom? Those digital stutters and glitches took me right back.

The frustrating thing for me is that Lego was actually super-progressive several decades ago in marketing to both boys and girls. The (somewhat viral) 1981 Lego ad is what they should be moving back to.

I remember the wigs, too, but I think they've gotten pretty sparse. Lego seems to be making fewer generic/non-movie-tie-in sets, which leads to fewer gender-neutral characters.

I completely agree. And if I'm sad and not entirely sure why, realizing that a specific scene or song lyric makes me cry gives me some focus as to what I'm upset about.

I realize that my original post isn't clear on this, so I'll clarify now: 'Sentencing' doesn't just refer to prison. You can be sentenced to time in a psychiatric hospital. I specifically didn't use the word prison because my gut feeling is that the attackers will (and should) undergo psychiatric care for most or all
