Ugh. This ad's been running for a few months on some of my local channels. I have to say, the actress they hired completely nails the condescending/patronizing tone.

I think I'm conflating some of the criticisms, in all honesty. As I'm thinking about it, Chelsie (Chelsea?) was criticized more for 'playing at being middle class' and living modestly despite being pretty wealthy. Still kind of a weird thing to bitch about, IMO.
I have to agree. There's a weird undercurrent of criticism levied at anyone close to the royal family. I remember a few years ago Kate - and I think one of Harry's serious girlfriends, too - kept being criticized for not carving out some sort of career for herself.
I didn't really have an issue with her comments, either. A lot of the vitriol towards her seemed to stem from the idea that you don't speak badly in public about a film that you worked on. I don't remember people turning on Brad Pitt when he did the same, though.
There have been rumors about their breakup for years, even before he became A-list. I don't find this implausible.
...can the menu's tagline be something along the lines of "Featuring eggs over easy, not fertilized"?
I had the same thing with one of my dogs. She started reacting to certain ingredients, I switched to Blue Buffalo but it wasn't any better (despite saying that they don't contain the ingredients in question).
Yep. Unless we start using "dayaker" for "kayaker" or "dhotographer" for "photographer," I don't want to hear about doodies.
It might help to think of it this way: When you print a document on a piece of paper, you're really sending a 2-d design (the document) to be printed on a 2-d workspace (the paper). All the printer does is work from one end of the design to the other, distributing ink where the design calls for it. 3-d printing is the…
I actually died a bit seeing the greeting card he designed for charity (Cumberbatch and Arthur Darvill also designed some).
This guy's about a nanosecond away from a Dean Venture-style breakdown: "Well maybe I should have been more sensitive to your needs and rubbed poo-poo on my pee-pee so you'd be more interested in me!"
After looking at it for far too long, I think the lower buttons are fake (just sewn on as decoration). There's a hook-and-eye closure at the top, and it looks like it might even be a zipper.
Right? Logan was doing this before it was cool.
I still find that line entirely hilarious. To the point where I use it on at least a weekly basis, but no one ever understands what I'm referring to.
If you put it back in the fridge, I believe the added oil prevents the butter from firming back up.

Wasn't there a similar story a year or two ago? A teenager was texting while driving and (possibly intentionally) caused an accident that took the other driver's life, then sued the victim's family. I think the suit was dropped in that situation, but it seems unfathomable that someone else is trying the same thing.
Yep. I'm a 'difficult' 11 or 12 - meaning wide and oddly-shaped - and finally committed to the custom shoe thing. It's made a big difference and I haven't surgically altered my feet in the process.
That 'choreography' seems like something Regina George would have come up with for the Plastics' part in the spring talent show.
The results are pretty, but the cost just doesn't make sense to me. It's $85+ for the stuff to make the "planks" (if you're starting from scratch) and the wall panels will add at least $30-$40 to the cost. I can get hardwood flooring from my local ReStore for less than that.
