I've always figured people hated the game because of it's name. When I bought the game, I was hoping for another chrono trigger, which it wasn't. I bet if they released this game with a different name, it wouldn't have received so much hate.

Personally, I'm a little sad by his departure. Say what you will about his demeanor, but he's been around FOREVER. His leaving is like the end of an era. Crap, I'm getting teary eyed thinking about it.
