I got through that part by bum rushing the knight on the right and knocking him off as fast as I could. It was highly dangerous, and I died a couple times from the other knight shooting me in the back, but I pulled it off. As a tiny spoiler hint, once you get on the roof of Sen's, look for a place where you can jump down and land next to a new bonfire. You will be very happy to not start from the blacksmith any more. Maybe don't worry about exploring and finding everything until you get that bonfire.

Sen's is where you need to go next. You don't need the wolf for a while. I know it seems daunting, but that's the place for you.
