Finished the last of my achievements in Dark Souls last night. I'm proud to say that I beat the first playthrough (almost) without using any outside resources, aside from looking up strategies for a couple of the more difficult bosses. Then in NG+, I dove in to the excellent strategy guide to help me find all of the

The Dark Souls guide was excellent and extremely helpful. Guides on Gamefaqs don't get posted right when the game comes out, either.

I hope you are buying the second copy from a different retailer...

I'm pretty sure they make the single player with renters in mind.

might be a combination of the unique date and not wanting to launch against Modern Warfare 3

That can't be legal.

Looking pretty good. I would recommend that you actually make the right hand bigger instead of shrinking the left. Those hands are much closer to the viewer than the head, so they would be larger. You should also consider adding some more of the right arm. I couldn't find the right hand at first. Thought it was behind

You are actually in a great place to farm souls for a while. There are like 12 silver knights around that bonfire that you can clear in ~10 minutes. Well, I could with a good melee build anyways. Those bosses are all about patience though. Be very defensive and pick your attacks well. Only focus on one, as the other

Just finished my third ever computer build, this time for my parents. Nothing fancy, just a cheap athlon quad core, 8 gigs of RAM. They should be able to check their email now.

Seems like a really good deal on both Dead Space games there. like $16, 66% off. Has me really considering it...

oh, make that $13... dammit

I never finished RDR Undead Nightmare last year, so tonight, I will start it up fresh. After I've beaten that, I will replay Costume Quest. Then I will be done with Halloween for the year.

Hey I remember when you posted this same brag like 9 months ago, and I made fun of you for teabagging then too. You haven't done anything else cool since January?

If it is Gamestop, you can just say you want to cancel them and they will give you the money back the same way that you paid. If you paid with trade in credit, you get trade in credit, not cash. if you paid with cash or card, you'll get the same thing back. Don't let them try to push you in to reserving or buying

Anor Londo first

The Dark Souls Strategy Guide came in the mail yesterday. Hooray! Wow, it really is very nice and thorough.

I was using the Titanite Catchpole, which has a nice long reach. But I think I actually got him to fall just by blocking with my shield and pushing myself between him and the wall. Then when he tried to hit me and I blocked, it pushed him back far enough that he fell. Just hold block and push yourself forward and

I got through that part by bum rushing the knight on the right and knocking him off as fast as I could. It was highly dangerous, and I died a couple times from the other knight shooting me in the back, but I pulled it off. Take solace in the fact that you get a new bonfire right after that. first door on the right

As a tiny spoiler hint, once you get on the roof of Sen's, look for a place where you can jump down and land next to a new bonfire. You will be very happy to not start from the blacksmith any more. Maybe don't worry about exploring and finding everything until you get that bonfire.

Sen's is where you need to go next. You don't need the wolf for a while. I know it seems daunting, but that's the place for you.
