Who's to say this young man maybe has his PS3, but couldn't bring the nice flatscreen to the dorms. Then he picks up the new HD Ico, tries it on his little dorm tv but realizes that this will not do. Then he is forced to find another option.
The other day, someone asked what your favorite boss fight in a game was. I couldn't think of anything at the time, but yesterday I remembered the last boss in the original Red Dead Revolver.
Though it does not support Move, Portal 2 is a good way to get someone new in to gaming. It seems to me that trying to jump right in to Move might be harder than most non gamers want to try.
Thanks for this heads up. I have been on the fence about this game, but this tipped me over. Amazon has it with 99 cents shipping for release day delivery, so I'm sold

they delayed the release until 2012

Take it in to a gamestop store with a reciept. Most stores will have 50 used copies and just switch it out for you.
Something about Mass Effect has re-captured me as well lately. I am now on the mission to get all of the achievements, which means I have the better part of 3 more playthroughs ahead of me. At least I can really explore some of the more unusual ways to finish some of the quests.
