I just made a Twitter that I will only be using to log into Gawker sites. I hate it, I have my browser set to delete cookies, history, and everything when I close it so I essentially have to log in twice (gawker AND twitter) to comment here.

Well there aren't that many new turn based games that stop time during turns, as others suggested: Resonance of Fate (but it is action turn based, still stops time between turns).

Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2

Rurouni Kenshin was my favorite when I was a kid, I actually found the show on DVD at the library in my area and watched Season 2 (and the unaired in the US Season 3) and was filled with nostalgia. They don't have Season 1, sadly.

They don't show Family Guy and American Dad on Saturdays to my knowledge, and I doubt Adult Swim would ever stop showing them unless there's a licensing issue.

I'm not sure why I don't really like SotN, the game just doesn't appeal to me for some reason. I like the 2D Metroids (I've played through Fusion, Super, and Zero Mission. Had a bit of trouble surviving in the latter two), and Ecclesia has become one of my all time favorite games.
