Donavan’s reply to Bocanegra is really bad, but his original tweet is fine.

Both sides seem incredibly craptastic on this one. Donovan may have been short-sighted and doubled down on it before eventually backing down, but there’s a lot of gall in telling people who they CAN’T root for as well.
thing is, Wilbon actually makes a decent point here. I don’t like the guy either, but Chris seems more enamored by ripping Wilbon than actually sitting down and thinking about these points. They’re honestly not bad.
One of these days I’m going to make a google plugin that automatically reroutes Deadspin.com to some other sports website. I’m just hate reading at this point. Like I get the point insane snark is the point, but god, calling a guy a shit head just because is irksome.

This reminds me of the book Positively Fifth Street, written by a guy who was doing a magazine piece on the Binion murders but happened to be in Vegas covering the trial during WSOP and wound up finishing fifth in the tournament that year.
It’s rumored Maria’s writing her character to be the ante hero.
That might be the best RKO out of nowhere I’ve never seen.
Those are some great fucking crayons.
What is high is not the horse I ride, but the road on which I ride it.
These dumb kids don’t realize Twitter/FB comments are easily accessed and tend to stick around for a while. This is why I’m grateful my awkward teenage years were spent on AOL.
Man, I hope ASU makes the Deadspin 25.
this was the dumbest hire in recent memory at the time and this is only the beginning. Why the hell would you want somebody like this around 20 year olds?? The athletic director should be fired immediately
