@Jonny_eh: The Joystix arcade I mentioned above also has a LOT of pinball. One of the maintenance guys actually showed me a LE Spider-Man black one based off the 3rd movie. I felt special!

I know I've mentioned this before, but there are also a couple of arcades in Houston that have held up fairly well. There's Joystix arcade [www.joystixamusements.com] which, while being a dealer of classic coin-op, is also open the first and last Friday of the month to the public at fifteen bucks a head and free play.…
@: hehe, nice comparison.
I absolutely love Kirby, and actually never thought about how his face looks different on the American covers. Seems kinda pointless, really.
@Marlor: Holy crap that looks amazing. I buy watches every once in a while but I only ever wear them for about two weeks before I forget I own them. My cellphone is my watch. I do like looking at them though.
@Garo: I think Squeenix's whole reason for even doing a multi-platform release is because of the market spread for the consoles, which is why the 360 will be getting it over here. I think it's going to sell obscenely well on both consoles, and will still sell many PS3s when it comes out over here, but in Japan, since…
Oh wow. Now THIS is exciting news. I still play the original Galaga. To me the spiritual successor was Geometry Wars, another awesome simplistic space shooter. I will be happy to see how this turns out.
I actually like the Morrigan statues I have more. The pose was better, and the hair. Here's a picture of the one I have:
@Shiryu: "Sadly, games win console wars, not hardware" Not sadly! That's how it should be! :-)
@Tonx: Heh, you don't have to tell me. I tried to get my parents to buy some Nintendo stock the fall before the Wii came out. I think it was around 25/share at the time. I still shake my head at that one.
I think part of the problem with Nintendo and their lack of "hardcore" games is not that they're lacking, but more that they just aren't advertising them correctly. They've spent so much time focusing on the "fun" and "simplicity" of the system that when they release a VERY decent game (from Metroid 3 to Okami to SMG)…
Oh no. I'm going to have to go super ridiculous on this one. On the plus side, a contest I can actually enter! yay!
Hey, rainbows can be scary too! Think of the leprechauns. The LEPRECHAUNS!!!
I would love to have a Master Chief Bobble. Unfortunately I do not travel out of town for conventions. In fact, I don't even go to conventions in town currently, although I'd like to go someday.
Man, I tried to get multiple covers. Partly because I accidentally ordered the wrong one the first time around. Boo!
I love the COLORS! And I love the style. The good thing about game design like this is that it takes longer to start looking outdated. It's part of the reason I prefer sprite RPGs over fully rendered 3D ones.
@Shiryu: lol, I was gonna say the same thing :-)
@Shiryu:
@excel_excel: "That's not a monster it's a bunny!" Not Hello Kitty reference, but, you get the idea.
@Zaxxon Q Blaque: No, you are absolutely right. Nothing is worse than that. I remember how pissed I was when we received those. There's something about destroying the integrity of the original box that I absolutely hate.
