@Ash Paulsen: Yeah sorry I didn't really phrase that very well in my moment of venting, I really meant that if you can't afford live either stop playing games all together or just stop complaining about the price and play offline

after reading some of the petty comments on this article bashing Live all I have to say is that if you don't want to buy gold then go use a Playstation or a Wii, but don't come back complaining that your missing out on certain things

The whole thing seems a bit stupid as they said the idea was to let people catch up, well as soon as they unlock it everyone who has racked up xp will just boost ahead again as if there was no cap, plus they will miss out on being certain levels

I'm confused as I have an xbox and am not 100% familiar with playstation, but is this not an official playstation update that happens automatically when connected to the internet or is this some homebrew thing.
