The picture represents the idea of the swing and a miss.

A very good point overall but:

But few larger and faster cars have the low speed maneuverability that make them effective anti ninja combat devices.

Take it as a package deal?

A good point.

Ah yes I forgot about that.

You're thinking of the Natter which was a disposable point defense interceptor, think manned SAM. The He 162 was a lightweight cheap jet fighter that was supposed to easy for anyone to fly.

I would argue that would have to do more with the free for all nature of streets at the time. See street movies and photos from 1860-1920. This was a time when there was no real enforced regulation and people still had a millennium of urban living behind them where you could walk where you wanted to, barring a few

When was this removed?

OK Michael, in reality these trains have to be really slow moving if a guy on a walking horse is able to keep in front of it for several miles. If that's the case the trains were not screaming death machines running through the middle of town that would crush the unwary, but instead just big slow moving traffic.

I don't know about that. Exactly.

Hmmm. Maybe I should look into this when I decide to go farm.

Very cool. I wonder how often they were used for this purpose...

What the OP is describing is how a lack of proper load handling policies resulted in the tech being too close to the fork and when he stumbled he was in danger immediately with the result that he was run over. If the car was kept lower and there were lines to stabilize it while keeping the workers out of the path of

To use the PTO did you just start the engine but leave it in park and it would run whatever you attached to it?

Mostly agreed. There are regional variations that affect price also, I have had good deals on meat and produce in both IL and So Cal but the dairy and grain were better priced in IL and beans were better with sales in So Cal.
