I think this video sums it up pretty nicely. :D

I feel like this post may be freaking hilarious, but it has this huge image at the top of a game title that has “code name” in it and a stupid acronym with dots in between and oh my god I just completely lost interest.
Thanks for being patient with me. I was not familiar with “stranger tides” as a phrase that means “ocean”. And in any case I might not have made the connection, I thought instruments and water are fairly common themes in a Zelda game. :D
(I haven’t actually played any Zelda game except for Wind Waker.)
The whole notion about the game being bugged because it's made by Obsidian is sooooo uncalled-for. Just like all the schadenfreude in the comments here. Really, fuck that.
Okay, so there's a knockoff (which is actually pretty good, it seems).
Disclaimer time: I live and eat 98+% of my meals in Washington State, one of 7 states that doesn't have a different minimum wage for tipped and non-tipped employees. The waiter or waitress in whatever restaurant I am in makes at least minimum wage which, coincidentally, is what I make in my retail job.
He isn't even doing any modeling; this is the in-game asset creation tool he's using. So yeah, I'm pretty sure that's it. Basically, European interchanges would have grassy slopes everywhere. The roads aren't on pillars unless absolutely necessary. And the curves are gentler as well, of course. Cities: Skylines…
The elevated walkway maybe, but the highway interchanges by Timboh are actually quite common in Europe. They look a bit weirder than they do in reality because of the limited tools he's working with, but the basic design is correct.
Personally, I'm mostly enjoying the mods that add some highway junctions, roundabouts and stuff like that. It's very difficult to design this stuff in the game, since you can't try out anything without losing lots of money. And I could never even dream of all those crazy real-world highway interchanges.
So does the controller have any actual disadvantages over the Xbox and PS4 controllers? Because right now it sounds as if Valve made the perfect controller, and yet you're kind of reserved about it because it's not a mouse-and-keyboard. Isn't that a bit weird? When reviewing the PS4, nobody says "the controller's nice…
I guess he was accidentally replying to your post. He was commenting on the statement "the controller is not nearly as good as keyboard/mouse, but close" - you can't be "not nearly as good as" something but "close" at the same time.
I feel like you're looking at this the wrong way. You say that men can't interpret signals correctly, while women can, right? You're saying that if a man wants to have sex with a woman, he'll try and get it no matter what kind of signals the other person is sending, while a woman can judge whether a man is interested…
Over the past few years, we've had way too many zombie and survival games. The zombie games got old because few ever managed to really nail the appeal of zombies (it's the apocalypse, not the zombies themselves), and survival games (a few pretty examples excepted) are about as fun as locking yourself in a room and…
Wait... both Pokemon must be in the game if they want to catch them all, right? So eventually they WILL end up with Lord Helix once again.
Perfect! Sadly, I'm guessing this reference is way too obscure for most people. :(
I want it for PC, but who cares! Can't wait for a new Fallout, that's what's important. It really is high time, Bethesda hasn't done anything as of late. And I don't know if I should be worried or excited. Which makes me... worricited or something.
I was actually more going for the Gandalf-like "wise man tells you about the world" vibe. ;) Didn't mean to come off as vitriolic.
It's not ironic if he's doing it conciously, which he is.
When Molyneux knows exactly about his reputation and how this kind of statement will remind people of his own history of over promising his work - is it ironic that he says it anyway?
Umm, yes. He's been there, and he's experienced the backlash, and he's learned from it. He's exactly the one you should listen to if he warns you not to over promise something.
