I’d be the first person to call EA out on their bullshit, but not here. I don’t care what their thoughts are behind the scenes in this particular case. Even if it’s just a PR move, a little bit of good is being done.

Well, I own all the Star Wars and Marvel movies, but if they give me access to all of their old animated movies, their old cartoons, Disney XD and Disney channel content for my kids, I’ll sign up.

If the add the back catalog of Disney cartoon television like Aladdin, Talespin, Darkwing Duck, etc you’ll have my interest. Heck I can’t even watch Season 1 of Tangled the TV series right now because they moved on to only showing S2 and pulled S1 from the DVR.

Usually rule changes are invisible to Joe Armchair Fan, but this one might just suck the lifeblood out of every NFL game in front of national audiences. Being forced to watch holding calls, pass interference calls, all the instant replay delays...and now this? The NHL is licking its chops right about now.

Yeah, I’d say maybe 5-10 of those should be penalties. It actually looks like the tacklers in many cases are trying to avoid damaging helmet-to-helmet contact. The regular season is going to be brutal if this keeps up.
